Security personnel are among the most visible representatives of any hotel. Pillar I establishes the hospitality standard expected of every PHAST Certified Officer — guest interaction, professionalism, communication, discretion, and operational awareness.

Built around nationally recognized emergency-management principles and taught by a FEMA-certified instructor, Pillar II develops the ability to recognize hazards, reduce liability, improve situational awareness, and support safer property operations.

The operational core of the PHAST certification. Develops the professional judgment, communication, access control, patrol, incident response, and documentation standards expected of PHAST Certified Officers.
Seven integrated modules

Built around New York Fire Code, FDNY Fire & Life Safety procedures, and coordinated emergency response. Delivered by experienced Fire & Life Safety professionals with extensive hotel operations backgrounds.
